The Starlight Club
The Starlight Club was a large and
narrow building on the main road leading up to the Stars Arena and
Titerium Palace. It was covered in grape vines and had two decks that
circled out from it's side allowing members to lounge and eat under
The club itself was a member only and had two gaurds that made sure only those on the member list were allowed to enter through the exquisitly designed white wood doors and gold trim. Inside was crowded, the Empire was a rich community and anyone with the funds was able to become a member, not just nobles but bussiness owners and politcal figures from across seas. The Starlight Club was the most popular social facility in town.
This was knew to Tahl. Back home such things were called Taverns and they were not so ellaborate. Even the noble parties were different back home. Such parties had themes and structure where as this appeared to be....casual.
The main floor appeared to be a dinning lounge. Round tables and fancy chairs were intricatly placed while exquisitly dressed men went about with trays in hand to service and bring the tables their ordered meals. To Tahl is was similar to a masked ball, but no one was celibrating anything...this was just noraml, every day affairs to these folks.
The next floor was the gambling hall. Square tables with various games were played. Cards, Dice, and even on that had different colored balls being hit around with a long stick. Darts, cubs...every table was a game and every game had people conversing bets and deals involving local credits.
The third floor was a bar, this was more familiar to Tahl, a Tavern of sorts but even here was done with a kind of fashion. Gentlmen smoked large cigars and pipes and drinks were passed around while they watched skantly dressed dancers sway about around a pole.
It was here the Prince chose to rest, ordering up drinks for himself and his personal servant before leading them to a louging table up front where they could easily watch the dancers. Tahl quickly noted that not all the dancers were female. The two at either end of the stage were young males and they wore very little in the way of clothing. It was the young male to the right end of the stage that the Prince chose to sit in front of, sighing as if he had suffered a long day of hunting lions and leaning back in his chair. A single eye peeled open and he laughed in open amusment “Well then? Sit. Relax. Your my personal servant not some sentery or guard. Rest.”
Tahl's frown twisted in further confusion as he hesitantly looked at the empty chairs. His Amber eyes glanced back to the prince who was preoccupied with his drink before the Ruce sat down, feeling a bit...uncomfortable.
